Manufacturing Fact #2: How small is a micron?
For perspective, a human hair is roughly 70 microns wide, while a red blood cell is only about 7–8 microns.
Haygor’s DLC advanced coating can be applied as thin as just ⅓ of a micron. That’s roughly 210 times thinner than a human hair.
At that scale, precision can be difficult to even see, but it can still make a meaningful difference in the performance of a precision-manufactured component.
