Small businesses deserve a voice in the conversations that affect our communities.
Yesterday, Artwin Graphics owner Marilyn Wilkins was invited to participate in a small community meeting with Texas Governor Greg Abbott focused on affordability and issues affecting Texas families and businesses.
The invitation-only discussion included local small business owners, nonprofit organizations and community members, with conversation around property taxes, healthcare costs for businesses and other affordability challenges.
As a longtime Pasadena resident and business owner, Marilyn appreciated the opportunity to listen, share perspectives and represent the local small business community in the conversation.
