Went in with my plan and it went better than expected.

I was feeling uncomfortable heading into an event by myself and thought I would talk to you about it.

Straightening up the office and discovered some forgotten treasures.

* Amber & Driftwood candle, a favorite scent.
* Plumeria hair clip.
* “You make a difference” mirror. (and, YOU DO!)
* Bracelets & massage stone.
* Powerfully Whole sticker from a talk I gave.
* Nostalgic color changing pens.

Now to go through my hoard of pens. I’ll donate the extra pens to my favorite baristas, servers, and nurses. It’s alway fun when I hand them a bag of 10+ pens. Yes, embarrassingly, I collect a lot of pens.

I need some help. My calendar life is messy. I have appointments going to different emails and I'm trying to get them all in ONE place so I don't have to check several calendars to know where I'm supposed to be on any given day. I also don't want to inundate organizers with a bunch of notifications.

How do you handle multiple calendars?

Sometimes you need to take a moment before you can move on to the next thing.

My life lesson for 2026: REST IS PRODUCTIVE.

I normally thrive on a full calendar and starting my day with the sunrise and running (not actually 🏃🏽‍♀️) all the day long. Getting all the things done and being all the places!

But this year, I’ve had to slow down in ways I never imagined. At first, I found it to be uncomfortable. I felt I wasn’t doing enough and maybe something was ‘wrong’ with me. But as the months passed, I realized something…

Rest isn’t a reward for doing all the things. Rest is part of the work.

There are different types of rest and today, like all day, I did passive rest. Slept ALL DAY and I don’t feel bad about it because I needed it my body and brain feel so much better.

How do you feel about rest? Try it…it’s great.

Thank you for being here and for sharing your expertise with our Administrative Professional Community.

From AI101 session alone, I’ve heard several admins commenting that they learned how to more effectively use AI in their everyday work.

And one attendee went from feeling FEAR of AI to being empowered to use it now.

I call that success! Thank you Aaron!

There are too many emotions of joy to fully respond to this at the moment.

Thank you, Laura Flores for Igniting confidence that lasts with APN and me!
