I've been so busy lately that I almost forgot to celebrate eight years in business! Wow, what a ride it's been so far.

So much has changed since I started Crowned back in 2015. Especially this year as I became a new Mom. 😊 This has been insightful as I've had people decide not to work with me because I was a new Mom (yes, that happened - at least they were honest).

I didn't realize how much I would learn about myself, and the people & organizations I work with. The ups and downs still happen but you understand how to better navigate through them.

Throughout the last eight years Crowned has:

--> Focused on its services that bring the most value to our client base.
--> Learned more about who our clients are and how to better serve them.
--> Assure our work & mission are aligned with our client's goals.
--> Take self-care seriously, it's all about balance.
--> Setting firm boundaries & expectations.

Im sure we've all heard these before, and this mindset is outdated.

Technology, including CRMs, plugins, messaging apps, internal systems, email, video, other saas platforms, and much more, makes it easier than ever to work remotely and stay connected to your team.

While you have the comfort of your home, or anywhere else you choose to work, not everyone stays in their PJs. We do have video meetings.

Having set working hours is just as essential as when youre in an office. The work is there, and regardless of location, it still needs to get done. We find our productivity to be higher when we're working comfortably.

I often schedule 15 min breaks and lunch so I get calendar notifications. This is helpful because it's easy to stay heads down in your work and forget.
