During that time I worked on hundreds of investigations including missing persons, stalking, domestic violence, terrorist threats, sexual assault, kidnapping, and attempted murder. I have worked in all areas of San Luis Obispo County, and also worked in the Civil Division, Boating Enforcement Division, and was a member of the Sheriff’s Dive Team. In addition I spent the last two years of my career
training new Deputies. After retirement I began working full-time at PCF Aviation, a company I co-founded in 2001 with two fellow Deputies. In early 2010, I came to the realization that I missed working with people and helping them with the problems they were encountering in their lives. Most people have never looked at law enforcement in that light, but that is what it was all about. Most every day of my career as a Deputy was spent responding to help out people in our community, some being at the lowest point of their life, many in life or death situations. After a little over 6 years out of the law enforcement profession I began looking for a way that I could get back into a position to help people once again, so I started J. Glau Investigations, a full-service Private Investigation agency in Paso Robles, California.
