Our southern facing sloped terrain, rocky limestone soils and distinct mediterranean climate, similar to that of Italy, make Pelletiere Estate the idyllic place for growing our exclusive varietals. In honor of our Italian heritage and those of our predecessor we have chosen to harvest exceptional Italian varietals such as Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Montepulciano, and Lagrein. We also produce superior Z

infandel, Syrah and Viognier. Our Italian style wines are handcrafted to bring out the natural and dynamic flavor profiles that are unique to our location and the varietals we have selected to cultivate.

Our hearts are heavy as we said farewell to a good man today. Armando has always been an integral part of our vineyard, from its earliest days.

He farmed our land with deep knowledge, consistency, and respect — understanding the vines, the soil, and the seasons in a way that only experience can teach. His work was thoughtful and disciplined, guided by a commitment to doing things the right way, year after year.

Armando is well respected in our community for both his expertise and his character. He showed up through every season and every challenge, steady, dependable, and devoted. That level of stewardship shaped us in lasting ways — from the health of our land to the quality of our fruit, and ultimately to the beauty and character expressed in our wines.

We are deeply grateful for the years we had the privilege of working with Armando and his influence is part of our vineyard’s foundation, and his presence will always be felt and deeply missed.

Thank you, Armando. You will always be part of our vineyard and our story. ❤️
