As the home of the San Francisco Chronicles Sweepstakes winning Best Red Wine, we at Écluse are dedicated to producing limited production, handcrafted, award-winning wines from our very own Lock Vineyard. Nestled in the gently rolling hillside terroir on the desired Westside of the Paso Robles AVA, we feature Bordeaux and Rhone style wines, as well as our fabulous Zinfandel. Our wines are often de

scribed as silky, lush, smooth and approachable when first released, becoming even more complex and elegant as they age! The explanation is simple – Écluse is French for the locks on the canals that gently carve their way through the remarkable French wine country – since our last name is Lock, the name Écluse for our wines was born. Our philosophy from the beginning is that great fruit makes great wine. Having our own small winery on site gives us the added benefit of picking and crushing small lots throughout the vineyard when the fruit has reached its peak flavors. Having the control from the vineyard to the bottle insures that Écluse will remain the truly remarkable wine that it is today! We invite you to “Savor the Wine that is truly Écluse!”

Mark your calendars and join us for our Summer Music Series! Relax on the terrace with live music and your favorite Écluse & Thibido wines! Wine will be available for purchase by the glass and bottle and you’re welcome to bring a picnic. Or let us do the work for you and pre-order a Grazing Box or Terrace Cheese Plate from Alba Provisions when you RSVP through Tock, and we’ll have it ready for you to enjoy.

Member Perk! During our Summer Music Series, we’ll be featuring select wines by the glass. Club members will enjoy 50% off your first glass of any featured wine. There’s no better way to ease into an afternoon of live music, great wine, and good company.

You can also reserve a tasting in the tasting room before and pick your favorite Écluse or Thibido bottle to enjoy during live music.

Seating is available first come, first serve. Grab your friends and find a spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in wine country. RSVPs encouraged, walk-ins welcome.

Land of the free because of the brave. Today we honor and remember those who courageously gave the ultimate sacrifice. We give heartfelt thanks to all who have served, and to the families who stand beside them. Their sacrifice, strength, and dedication will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful.

Our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is thoughtfully crafted, representing the most compelling expression of our Lock Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and produced only when the vintage allows. Select barrels are aged for an extended 30 months in a higher percentage of new French oak, 12 months longer than our standard barrel program, allowing the wine to develop layered texture, refined elegance, and a lasting finish.

We recently bottled our 2023 vintage, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with our members next spring. Following its extended barrel aging, each bottle is carefully hand waxed by our team before being tucked away for an additional year of bottle aging prior to its release in our Spring Insider Club shipment. This vintage is truly remarkable, showcasing beautiful depth, elegance, and balance, and we can’t wait for our members to enjoy it.

This additional spring release includes limited library wines, specialty bottlings and wines from our Winemaker Series.
