Jessie's Screen Printing

Jessie's Screen Printing Jessica Sandoval’s dream was to be a Fashion Designer. She had everyone’s approval at her choice of a career.

At a very young age, Jessie loved to mix and match clothing and accessories, and as she got older, she loved to help friends and family shop. In the fall of 2005, she entered William Paterson University, where she planned to study to achieve her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Unfortunately, Jessie's dream ended on April 14, 2006, when she was killed in a car accident. Although Jessie’s pare

nts, Dawn and Carlos Rodriguez, do not have the same gifts as Jessie, they desired to find a way to continue Jessie’s legacy. With Carlos’ skills and his knowledge of machinery, he figured out a way to continue Jessie's dream. He started buying tools and supplies and taught himself to design t-shirts and print them. He established Jessie’s Screen Printing and continues today designing and creating anything from cups and aprons to banners and even telephone cases. Carlos and Dawn Rodriguez run Jessie’s Screen Printing from their home. Dawn currently works full-time as a Principal Library Assistant. Carlos is retired but devotes much of his time to Jessie’s Screen Printing. With God’s help, Jessie’s memory and her love for fashion will live on.
