The Pickett Project Public Hearing has been scheduled for October 16th - 18th in Millinocket. The hearings will take place at Stearns Jr-Sr High School at 199 State St. Topics of discussion will include the project's financial practicability, water and fish resources and aquatic habitats, wildlife resources and habitats, the area's natural character, socioeconomics, and historical/cultural resources and relevant tribal impacts.

Day session during the hearings will involve testimony from Wolfden and Intervenors, including expert witness testimony. Evening sessions on October 16th and 17th are reserved for public comments. All information pertaining to the rezoning application is available on the LUPC's project-specific website and written public comments can be submitted at any time by the link below. We hope to see you there to support the project!

What a fun night tonight! Thank you to all the families that joined us for gold panning, core painting, geode smashing, and lots of pizza! We had about 35 kids and 25 adults come hang out with us tonight, it was a blast! What an amazing community we are a part of!
