🧦 PSA from The Lost Sock 🧦
Good morning! While doing a little self-care for our machines (aka cleaning the dryer vent), we uncovered what can only be described as:
• A family-size offering of crushed Cheez-Its/Cheetos living rent-free in the dryer vent
• Popcorn… in the washer 🍿
We love that you’re multitasking, but our machines are here to wash clothes — not host snack buffets, movie nights, or whatever late-night munchie experiment this was.
Friendly reminder:
👉 Pockets are for lint, not lunch
👉 Dryers are not air fryers
👉 Washers are not popcorn makers
Our socks are already lost.
Our patience, however, is hanging by a single thread. 🫠

Do I really need to say anything about these pictures?

Pretty self explanatory if you ask me….

I don’t make enough money at the Lost Sock Laundromat to pay someone to watch people come in and out of the mat making sure they aren’t washing SH*T in the washers with their clothes.

Why? Why would I want to upgrade or add more of anything to this place if this is happening.

This is very disgusting and it was someone who washed their items yesterday 12/28. Ive reviewed the cameras and can narrow it down very easily.

Do better.

LETS HELP KEEP THE LAUNDROMAT CLEAN!

1 - Please do not empty out your whole vehicle into the garbage can! Especially your ash trays please :)
2 - Please do not forget your laundry. (There are 2 piles of clothes in the window sill still waiting for pick up)
3 - Whatever is left there on a Friday morning from the week does get discarded.
4 - Please no food or drinks for donation left in the windows. Great concept, but there are children who do not get attended too and I have had to clean rice and cereal amongst spaghetti noodles and whatever else gets thrown on the floor.

Calls her son "Cy" - She was at the mat Friday the 13th at appx 3 pm
Minute 4:37 is when she is caught.

Please note that this is the washer for Animal and Farm use. Overloading the washer with too many items or with too much soap will cause issues that is why there is a max fill line.
There are rags and a spray bottle to wipe out the washers as needed.
If any bedding for animals or clothing from farms is found to be used in any of the other machines you will be confronted and asked not to return.

New announcements!
The brand new top loaders are for clothes only. This does not include farm clothes.
It is very disappointing to get messages like the picture in the comments from people already abusing brand new equipment that is not even a week old.
People come here to wash their everyday clothes because of well issues and iron issues. This is not a farmers only Laundromat. Please be courteous of others in the town.
The large capacity washer will be for pet and farm use. You may use the large capacity washer for your clothes as well just be mindful that this will be the only one for animal items.
