🛶 A new way to enjoy our lakes!

The kayak launch purchased by TIFA is now installed at Fran Leaf Park—another step toward making Keego Harbor’s natural beauty easier to enjoy.

TIFA, City Council, and all of our boards share a vision of investing in our lakes and trails and improving access for everyone. It’s exciting to see that vision taking shape!

Thank you to Decks and Docks for the partnership- I’m looking forward to a beautiful autumn paddle. See you on the water! 🍂

Our dock doesnt need bubblers. We have hundreds of them that stay left in and get completely froze in.

Preparing for retirement, Tony Crego has invested for years in his property on Maiden Lane in Henrietta Township. He installed a permanent dock on Lake Pleasant and later added a bubbler to protect it and prevent the water from freezing around it.

It became an issue when lake residents began to see open water during the winter months, when the lake is expected to completely freeze. Henrietta Township is now weighing a new ordinance that would prohibit the use of bubblers in all township lakes.
