🐿️ When flying squirrels find a way in, they don't need much of an invitation!

These little guys had already made themselves at home through some deteriorating roof sections.

A few custom metal repairs and strategically placed one-way doors will allow the squirrels to leave without being able to get back inside.

No need to trap them when we can let them show themselves out! 👍

Another home getting some long-term protection here in Southwest Michigan!

🦟 Did you know mosquitoes are actually pollinators?

Believe it or not, mosquitoes do more than just bite! Both male and female mosquitoes feed on flower nectar, and in the process, they can transfer pollen between flowers. In fact, male mosquitoes don't bite at all! Some plants, including certain species of orchids, even rely on mosquitoes for pollination. Female mosquitoes only bite because they need the extra nutrients from blood to help develop their eggs.

While mosquitoes aren't nearly as important to pollination as bees or butterflies, they still play a role in our ecosystems. They're also a food source for fish, birds, bats, and other wildlife.

Love them or hate them, we're just glad they're getting ready to disappear for a few months! 😂🦟

Your roof vents might look perfectly fine… but are they? 👀🦇🐿️...

These vents looked completely normal from the outside, but several weren't properly secured. We could literally lift them up and see straight into the attic!

We're installing specialty wildlife guards to help prevent future unwanted visitors.

Sometimes the biggest problems are the ones you can't see from the ground!

Birds have been getting into this building since the 1970s. Not anymore! 🐦🚫

We started in daylight and finished in pitch darkness putting the final touches on this one!

Using specialty materials, we custom-fabricated vertical and horizontal inserts to eliminate the spaces birds had been using to roost and nest inside the building for decades.

Over 50 years of bird problems. One long-term solution. 💪

When your workshop becomes a snake pit… 🐍😳

10/10/2026

In case you're wondering, we have seen these work 0% of the time out of 100% of our jobs dealing with birds.

If we were going to give anyone a suggestion, it would probably be to provide the birds with something they've seen before. Perhaps like a fake hawk? I imagine the percentage of birds that have ever seen an owl is quite low.. 😆
