🌿 ROOTED PERMANENT MARKET — NOW ACCEPTING VENDORS 🌿
We’ve shared pieces of what’s coming to Rooted, but we want to give everyone a better look at the full plan for our Permanent Market and what it means for local small businesses.
WHAT IS THE ROOTED PERMANENT MARKET?
The Permanent Market will be a condensed, walk-through marketplace inside Rooted where local businesses, makers and vendors can have a consistent retail presence without taking on the expense of their own brick-and-mortar location.
And the market is only one part of Rooted.
The rest of our approximately 7,000-square-foot space will remain flexible for meetings, classes, programs, workshops, pop-up vendors, youth activities, churches and ministries, networking, community outreach, private gatherings and special events.
That means your business isn’t sitting inside a building that’s only waiting for someone to come shop.
We’re creating reasons for people to come through the doors — and opportunities for them to discover your business while they’re here.
🌿 PERMANENT VENDOR SPACES
Our market is being designed with connected, modular pallet-style displays to create an attractive, condensed walk-through shopping area while keeping the majority of Rooted available for everything else happening here.
Current permanent space options:
• Micro — approximately 3’ x 4’ — $75/month
Perfect for jewelry, candles, accessories, small handmade products, specialty items and businesses that don’t need a large footprint.
• Small — approximately 5’ x 6’ — $125/month
More room for shelving, displays and a larger product selection.
• Large — approximately 6’ x 8’ — $175/month
Our largest permanent option for businesses needing additional merchandise and display space.
Your space gives your business a consistent home inside Rooted and an opportunity to build visibility month after month.

We want to build a diverse collection of local businesses, makers and entrepreneurs.

We want the market to feel like a collection of real local businesses with their own identities, not rows of identical booths.
✨ WHY ROOTED?
Because the vision is much bigger than renting shelf space.
Rooted is being created as a community hub.
On any given day, someone may walk through our doors for a meeting, children’s activity, after-school program, workshop, class, church group, networking event, pop-up business, outreach project or special event.
While they’re here, they’ll also have the opportunity to shop and support the permanent businesses inside Rooted.
We also want to partner with businesses throughout Loris and the surrounding communities — creating referrals, workshops, collaborations and opportunities that help local businesses grow together.
🤝 THE BIGGER PURPOSE
Rooted is a for-profit business because the building has to sustain itself, but it wasn’t created simply to maximize profit.
Our goal is to keep opportunities affordable, cover the cost of operating the space and use what we’re building to support community outreach, programs, partnerships and opportunities for people who may not otherwise have access to them.
We want someone with an idea to be able to say:
“I don’t have a storefront, but I have somewhere to start.”
“I don’t have a classroom, but I have somewhere to teach.”
“I don’t have a meeting room, but I have somewhere to gather.”
“I want to serve my community, and I have somewhere to do it.”
That’s the heart behind Rooted.
It isn’t just a market.
It isn’t just an event space.
It isn’t just a place to rent a room.
It’s a place for businesses, families, organizations and the community to grow together.
