Putting something down doesn’t always mean you have to start over.

Sometimes the gap gives you space to gain more information, experience, or access to an opportunity that better prepares you for what comes next. You may be returning to the same goal, but you’re not returning as the same person.

We investigate that idea deeper in Episode 1 of The Genius Lab Podcast: “What Would You Have to Give Up to Start Over?”

You’re allowed to change your mind.

Growth can change what you want, how you see things, and even the direction you thought you were headed. You don’t have to race someone else’s timeline while you figure out your own.

You’re the blueprint.

Sometimes we look for someone else to hand us the exact path forward, when the better question is: What works for you?

What if you’re not afraid to start over—you’re afraid of what you might have to give up to do it?

In Episode 1 of The Genius Lab Podcast, we investigate the tradeoffs behind pursuing something new. Is it really fear holding you back, or are you protecting your comfort, time, money, health, relationships, lifestyle, or sense of stability?

This conversation isn’t about judging anyone for staying where they are or encouraging reckless change. It’s about identifying the real cost of moving forward, questioning what you believe you must sacrifice, and deciding whether the dream, the route, or the timing needs to change.

Enter the Genius Lab and investigate:

• What does your current life provide that you’re afraid to lose?

• Is the sacrifice real—or assumed?

• Do you still want the dream?

• Could you pursue it without destroying everything you’ve already built?

I’m Squally the Scientist—not because I have all the answers, but because I’m curious enough to continue asking questions.

Subscribe for more Genius Lab investigations designed to help you ask better questions, observe your patterns, and continue discovering yourself.

Behavioral STEM™

Making Invisible Behavior Visible™

09/04/2026

How much of your routine did you actually choose for yourself?

09/03/2026

Are you comparing your journey to someone else’s appearance of success?

07/26/2026

Most of our behaviors aren’t random. They’re patterns we’ve stopped noticing.

In our Behavioral STEM™ workshop, we explored one of the biggest questions a person can ask:

Who are you?

Not through labels.

Not through judgment.

Through investigation.

Together, we began uncovering the invisible patterns that quietly shape our decisions, reactions, relationships, and daily habits. Many of us go through life repeating behaviors we’ve never stopped to examine.

When those patterns become visible, new possibilities begin to emerge.

That’s what this workshop is about.

Not telling people who they are.

Helping them discover who they are through observation, reflection, and investigation.

This is why Behavioral STEM™ exists.

Because lasting change doesn’t begin with someone giving you answers.

It begins when you become curious enough to investigate yourself.

Observe. Investigate. Think Differently.

07/24/2026

Sometimes it’s actually the first sign of awareness.

One of the hardest questions we can ask ourselves isn’t:

“How do I fix my life?”

It’s:

“What patterns have I been carrying that I haven’t stopped to investigate?”

During our first Behavioral STEM™ Drug Court Workshop, we didn’t begin with experiments.

We began with observation.

Participants read.

Reflected.

Wrote.

Asked questions.

Then they left with something more valuable than answers…

They left with investigations.

One participant said:

“Where were you when I was five years old?”

That wasn’t a request for a solution.

It was a reminder that many of us were never taught how to observe our own thinking.

Growth doesn’t always begin with more information.

Sometimes it begins with one honest question.

What habit, belief, or behavior have you been avoiding investigating?

⬇️ I’d love to hear your answer in the comments.

Most people don’t burn out because they’re weak. They burn out because they’ve never been taught how to observe where their behavioral energy is actually going.

That’s why I built The Genius Lab.

This isn’t another productivity app telling you to wake up earlier, hustle harder, or follow someone else’s routine.

It’s an observation tool.

Throughout the day, you log your activities and see how they impact your behavioral capacity. Over time, patterns begin to emerge, helping you make more intentional decisions about your energy, recovery, and daily habits.

The goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is awareness.

Because when you can see your patterns, you can begin to change them.

🧪 The Genius Lab is currently in DEMO MODE, and I’d genuinely love your feedback.

If something feels confusing…
If there’s a feature you’d like to see…
Or if you have ideas that would make the experience better…

Please let me know.

Your feedback will help shape future versions of the app.

This learning experience is designed to help participants investigate who they are before deciding who they want to become.

Through guided observation, discussion, experimentation, and reflection, we’ll begin uncovering the patterns, strengths, interests, and behaviors that often go unnoticed.

Because lasting transformation doesn’t begin with better habits.

It begins with better understanding.

Guiding Question

“Who am I?”

This Behavioral STEM™ Learning Experience is designed specifically for Drug Court participants and marks the beginning of a larger educational journey centered on self-discovery, behavioral awareness, and intentional growth.

We transform with questions, never with judgment.
