There are very few achievements in life that are accomplished alone. Virtually every time something great happens, people come together for the greater cause. And this was true on Christmas Eve.
Every year, my family makes lunches, collects blankets, socks and gloves to hand to the homeless in Atlanta on Christmas Eve morning. We were so blessed to have a handful of people make this day of service a reality.
Constanze Kahlil-Minten, the owner of the Friends Table in Peachtree City, donated ALL of the lunches...and she even put in a hand signed Christmas card in every box! Her generosity is so greatly appreciated by my family but importantly by those who enjoyed a very needed meal that day.
Others who contributed are:
* Jimmy D of Cruise Planners who donated cash to buy gloves.
* Nick Garrison of Good Dog gave blankets.
* Pat Christensen from Medicare Solutions provided socks.
* Michelle McAllister of New Day Home Health Care donated blankets.
These people came together to do something wonderful during a time in these people's lives when they needed it the most.
Thank you Constanze, Jimmy D, Michelle, Nick and Pat!
When people come together, they can do great things.
