Check out all the baked goods at Hen House in New Orleans. The hummingbird cake is my favorite so far, but I still have a slice of coffee cake and a pumpkin ginger muffin to try.

The locals frequent this bakery/cafe and most don't know or care that the food is gluten free. To them, it just tastes good. High praise indeed!!

The display case and counter are full of freshly baked cookies, muffins, bagels, sweet breads, bread, and cakes!!

Biscuits and gravy at a gluten-free free breakfast cafe, bakery, and store. Tyhe biscuit is toasted with crunchy edges and a soft middle to sop up their perfectly thick gravy loaded with sausage.

They also have pancakes, and waffles, and coffee cake, and sandwiches, and quiche all made fresh daily. So delicious and the staff couldn't be more friendly if they tried.

Make the time to enjoy breakfast at Hen House and leave room in your carry on for some of their pastries!!

I need 4 more packages of these molasses cookies from Ethel's Baking Co. STAT! I demolished them way too quickly. I couldn't stop eating them. These soft cookies have a balanced blend of brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice, creating theperfect bite of fall sans pumpkin.

I grew up getting molasses cookies from the local bakery and haven't had a gluten-free version this good, like ever! And it came from a grocery store, not a gluten-free bakery.

If you haven't tried their baked goods yet, you are totally missing out!! I was lucky enough to try their Pecan Dandies more than a decade ago...one bite was all it took. I was hooked and needed more. I have no clue how they taste freshly baked. So fresh and flavorful, they are undetectable as gluten free.

Jill, Ethel's grandmother, has brought her recipies to life through Ethel's Baking Company. Passing on the tradition of showing love through food. You can buy them at Sprouts and Walmart. Their seasonal flavors are on shelves now!

When in Marietta, stop by GOOD KITCHEN + MARKET for a menu full of gluten-free options and a well educated staff. I had the peaches and cream pancakes and the avocado bacon bowl without cheese. They have corn tortillas for fish tacos and burritos, pancake chips with maple whipped cream dip, and avocado nachos.

The pancakes are light and fluffy, made from their own pancake batter and topped with housemade peach compote and whipped cream - a seasonal special.

I definitely ate too much and would absolutely go back. Such a great find for lunch or brunch.

Finally made it to loveitglutenfree at the Avondale Farmers Market to try their Asian gluten-free sweet and savory offerings.

This is the Flower bun with beef hot dogs, pecorino, and scallions. This is the best way to eat a hot dog, hands down! The pockets for the dogs are tender with a soft crunch. Everything comes together for a unique, grown up spin on the all American hot dog!

Say hello to my little friend....Peaches n' Cream cupcake....a cupcake at hell yeah gluten free Who'd have thought that a cupcake would grace their menu, like ever?

The flavor combos were nice, there was a good amount of filling, and the meringue was incredible, but the cake was very dense and heavy.

This was an offering for the monthly subscription box and isn't on their menu just yet.

The July Subscription Box from hell yeah gluten free is a brand new offering. The whole idea is subscribers get to try off-the-menu products and some current products before everyone else. Modified to be dairy free, my bag was stuffed with a couple of different products.

Highlights included:

Lemon 🍋 Tea cookie - a cross between a sugar cookie and a shortbread cookie. Soft buttery texture with luscious bright frosting. Add it to the menu please!

Mocha 🍩 chocolate donut (vegan) - I don't even like mocha and I loved this donut. The frosting is more salty than sweet with bold flavor. Again, add this to the menu!

Brownie mix - looking forward to making this!

Cinnamon Roll (vegan) - very heavy and kind of stiff. This was a replacement product.

Strawberry pop tarts - I haven't tried these yet, but I am looking forward to making them at home.

I love savory options at gluten-free bakeries and the curry pot pie at hell yeah gluten free delivered! It is a vegan savory delight with crunchy edges like a pizza crust, and a wonderful flaky texture that contains the creamy potatoes, spinach and curry filling without falling apart.

I ate it while driving and it didn't crumble one bit. I kinda wished I had another one. So feakin' tasty and filling!!

Take a road trip to Truett's Luau in Fayetteville and indulge on the Kahlua pork nachos. The 14-hour slow-smoked pork, cheese dip, sweet and spicy chili sauce, cilantro, and green onions on sweet potato fries (normally served on wonton chips) is a smoky, cheesy delight!!

This tropical location has a menu featuring pineapple, mahi mahi, and maccadamia nuts in the sandwiches, tacos, nachos, sauces, shakes and drinks! Many items can be modified and the staff is fully educated.
