Hello Friends!
Just finished up this changing table for my client before I take off on my long vacation!!
It’s painted with Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Picket Fence. The whitest of the whites in this line.
I cleaned, scuff sanded then applied Dixie Belle Bonding Boss due to its non porous material. Then went in and painted using this brush. White being so light on pigment I went in with my sprayer to finish the job. Last coat was a mixture of paint and topcoat from Dixie Belle in Satin.
Now to put the original strap back on and get this back to the client before her baby arrives 🫣🎊🤪

Hello Friends!!!
Yes I am, Blessed to have such wonderful clients who turned out to be fantastic friends.
Have done her dining room table and chairs, side tables, antique trunk and this awesome dresser. And she then purchased the side chair I painted~ posted with the fliptop desk in a previous post.
The bedspread in her guest bedroom is her jumping off point. Wanted a dark color to contrast so we came up with this color. Urbane Bronze.
Wonderful piece of furniture that has been updated in this neutral gray/brown/bronze.
She was looking for hardware but we decided to keep the vintage batwing, which a lot of people don’t like but when done correctly it looks “new”~Venetian Bronze.
So, what cha think? Gotta love this rich color. 🩶

Hello Friends!!!
Just finished up this vintage secretary desk. It’s to be sold sometime, not for a client or me.
It’s been in my storage unit for nearly two years 🫣🤯 never able to decide what colors to paint it in.
Did a clients dresser (have not posted yet) exactly like this. Urbane Bronze and the handles sprayed in Venetian Bronze. Inside is Agreeable Gray.
The insert can be taken out, not attached.
The chair is painted in the same Urbane Bronze. Believe it or not but it’s super comfortable. Getting a pad that has the same color (?) as the inside
Welp, back into storage until I know what’s going on with it. 🥴

What cha think of this color? Very neutral and sleek IMO.

Yup, happy that I was asked by my friend to paint this Little Tykes Cozy Coupe into a Beachy Surf Boy Coupe. His 1st BD party!! I think he will have all the beach babes after him. 🏖️🏄🏻‍♂️🏄‍♀️
In the photos you can see the “inspirational pics”. The emblems have been ordered and they will put those on and a surf board is being made by them (I think)
In this project I used Sherwin Williams Emerald line in the color Blue Sky. The top was painted using Wise Owl OHE in the color Kashmir. Lots of coats of primer too. Ugh.

So, what do you think? Ready for a Beach Party???

Yup, excited forsure.

Hi friends!!
Here is my clients dining table set I finished up for her.
Solid wood. Heavy real wood. Updated by painting it with Fusion Mineral Paints in the color Cobblestone and a top coat was applied using same Fusion in Tough Coat Matte Finish.
The chairs the same color and were recovered by a local upholsterer.
Her dog ate part of the (old table) leg base🫣and I then did the repairs.

Such a beautiful table to start with but what do you think of the updated look. I painted my dining table exactly the same.

Hello Friends!!
I have been busy in my re-retirement doing up some furniture.
This is a vintage/antique wardrobe that a friend of mine wanted done. She purchased it in this shabby chic cottage look a few yrs back. Her tastes have changed so I just gave it an updated sleek look. I painted her lamp too which will go into another room.
The paint color is SW Agreeable Gray, the same as all her trim work in the house.
She also purchased new drawer pulls to go with the new look. The hinges were done up using a silver guilding wax from Dixie Belle.

What do you think?? I personally like a clean timeless look.

Hello Friends
Here is a nice peacock side table in used Dixie Belle Guilding Wax in Gold.
It’s the easiest way to enhance a dull looking project.
No sealer needed.
