Faith In Business began as a quarterly luncheon where business owners and leaders from the community would gather for a free lunch provided for by the Churches in the community. The focus was networking, inviting business leaders to share testimony on how their faith has informed and impacted their work life as well as receiving prayer for their families and businesses from local pastors in the co
mmunity. Out of the lunches came a desire to network as well as gather to go deeper in understanding what God and the Bible say about our faith and our work life. The question was asked, does God really care about my business? While the answer was a resounding yes, the discussion moved to how do we tape into God's desire for my business and my work life. How do I intentionally allow my faith to impact and inform my business and work life? We believe this is best answered through through more personal conversations and discussion that we are calling Face2Face, focusing on community experiences and personal encounters both one on one and in small groups committed to looking at God's word as it applies to the marketplace and prayer. Faith In Business is not simply a ministry but rather a statement of belief. If our faith is not simply something we do but rather who we are, then how is it impacting every area of our lives with a focus on the marketplace.
