Rhonda Piggee, founder of Safety Piggee, is passionate about protecting people. Through Safety Piggee, Rhonda has found a way to blend her extensive experience and her love for people with her knowledge of local, state and government compliance as it pertains to health and safety. Rhonda has assisted in developing and executing systems and standards for the analysis of HSE (Health/Safety/Environment) statistics, implement HSE policies, procedures and guidelines for the employees and department safety. Rhonda received her Master of Science degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University and her Bachelor of Science in Human Development with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston. She holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Designation. She is Lean Six Sigma Certified, an OSHA Outreach Trainer, is a Certified HAZWOPER Training Specialist and holds a certificate in Industrial Hygiene Management. Her experience was gained working on multiple U.S. military bases in Iraq, as well as in the Pulp and Paper, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries. Rhonda is dedicated to helping foster a safer, actively caring culture on worksites, schools and organizations and to create a balance between both regulatory compliance and the behavioral side of safety one location at a time. Rhonda believes that in order to reach the generation of tomorrow, changes must be made to how we operate businesses today.
