We’ve been getting a lot of questions about what growers should do with the current weather and low chance of rain for the next 10-14 days.

We would suggest spraying NEXTA stress reducing products!

On corn - 4oz of Sharp for less than $5 an acre

On soybeans - 8oz of shield & 8oz of Spark for $12.75 per acre

Here is an example of spraying spark and shield on double crop soybeans last summer when we were lacking rain! The soybeans on the treated side (on the right) were 4” taller and closed the canopy over a week earlier than the un treated side. These soybeans pushed through the stress that double crop soybeans go through which matches what we are experiencing right now! Along with the growth the treated side increase over 10% more than the untreated side on less than half of the normal growing season!
