I have extensive ADHD Coach training through the ADD Coach Academy and many years of personal experience. I am a professional member of the ADHD Coaches Organization. I believe that the client is a whole person and not just a diagnosis. As your Coach, I partner with you to understand your unique brand of ADHD. Coaching is all about focusing on the positive instead of the negative. We explore what’
s important to you (values) and instead of focusing on past failures and weakness, we identify the things you already do well (strengths and abilities) and find ways to use those strengths to enhance the quality of your life. In the coaching partnership, you are the boss and you decide what you want to work on. Some of the areas that my clients choose to focus on are goal setting, planning, organizing, starting and completing projects and establishing support structures for success. This includes building and reinforcing skills and developing customized action plans for attaining goals and dreams. I work with ages 16 and up but I have a special place in my heart for teens and young adults who are trying to get it together. My coaching services are not limited to those individuals with a diagnosis of ADD/ADHD. Most of us have some aspect of our lives where we wish we could improve, but we struggle to make it happen by ourselves. We could be in the midst of a life transition, feeling stuck and just not moving forward. Maybe we find ourselves devoting too much time and energy to activities that aren’t leading us towards goals that really matter to us. Coaching can be the catalyst for finding and getting on your own path. Is coaching the missing piece to your puzzle? Call to schedule a complimentary session to see if it’s a good fit. 309-229-4305.
