American Home Systems we are seeking a Low Voltage Technician to assist install systems for our customers’ buildings. Installation duties include distribution of power and communication cables, as well as wiring for fire alarms, security, phone systems and computers. Electrical experience will be considered a plus. The individual must be hard working, maintain a clean driving record, background check and be a team oriented individual.
Responsibilities:
Install low voltage wiring and cabling systems in support of data, voice, video and security systems.
Pull and terminate a variety of cables
Install CAT5e/6 twisted pair wiring in a residential/commercial building.
Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time.
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
Ability to work at heights.
Candidate must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license as well as a good driving file.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
