SERVICE RESTORATION UPDATE

We are pleased to announce that repairs have been completed and services have been restored following last night’s accident and damage to our fiber lines.

We sincerely thank all of our customers for your patience and understanding while our crews worked to safely complete the necessary repairs.

IMPORTANT SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

This evening, an accident occurred in the Maybrook area of Route 460 near Eggleston Road. As a result of the accident, four of our main fiber lines were torn down, causing significant damage and service interruptions.

Our team is currently working to assemble the necessary crews and equipment to begin repairs. Due to the extent of the damage and the work required to safely restore the lines, repairs are expected to take some time. At this time, we estimate that restoration may not be completed until sometime tomorrow evening.

We will provide periodic updates as work progresses and will share additional information as it becomes available.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work safely and efficiently to restore services as quickly as possible.

Pembroke Telephone Cooperative is pleased to inform you that PemTel’s fiber broadband service is being made available to residents in the Chestnut Street, Caudill Street, and Woodrum Drive areas of Pearisburg.

If you are interested, this service will be connected and delivered to your home by utilizing fiber optic cables.

PemTel personnel will be set up at the Pearisburg Community Center on the following dates:

Thursday ~ June 25th ~ 4:00 till 7:00 pm
Tuesday ~ June 30th ~ 4:00 till 7:00 pm

A one-time $25.00 membership fee will be billed to all new members. No money will be collected at these events. You will need to bring a photo ID with you to sign up for your membership.

We offer a variety of Fiber Internet plans to suit your needs. We believe in providing quality service and excellent customer care at competitive prices with NO data limits and NO throttling!

Pembroke Telephone Cooperative would like to remind our members of our Annual Membership Meeting tomorrow, May 14th!

This year's event will be held as a drive-thru event at the business office located at 504 Snidow Street in Pembroke. The event will begin at 2:00 and will end at 6:00.

The meeting is open to all active members.
