Hey y’all, it’s Lainey! 🎀💗
From magazines, to pageants, to modeling gigs, my whole little life I’ve been known as **“Little Dolly.”**
From my sassy Southern side to my sweet little Southern accent, people have always seen a little bit of Dolly in me. And honestly… there’s nobody I would have rather been compared to.
Besides my mama, Dolly Parton has always been my biggest role model. 💕
Today, my heart is so sad knowing that Dolly has gone to Heaven to be with some very special people she’s missed for so long. 🕊️🤍 And while the world may have lost a legend today, Heaven gained one of the sweetest souls Tennessee has ever known.
Dolly was never about being snooty or acting like she was better than anyone else. She showed the world that you could wear the rhinestones, the big blonde hair, the high heels, and still have the biggest heart in the room.
She came from humble beginnings in the Tennessee mountains and built an incredible life—but she never forgot where she came from. From those humble beginnings to the bright lights of Nashville, from singing songs that touched millions of hearts to creating a place where families could make memories at Dollywood, Dolly always carried a little piece of East Tennessee with her wherever she went. She gave back, loved children, helped people, and reminded us that kindness never goes out of style.
She gave us **“Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors,” “I Will Always Love You,”** and so many more songs—but Dolly’s greatest gift to the world may have been her heart. She proved that you can be successful without being mean. You can be beautiful without putting others down. You can be famous and still remember the people who helped you along the way.
Dolly was sweet Southern sass. She was kindness. She was laughter. She was rhinestones and big dreams. ✨ She showed little girls like me that you can come from anywhere, dream as big as your heart can imagine, and still stay true to who you are.
So today, this little **“Dolly”is extra sad. 💔
But I know Dolly would want us to keep smiling, keep loving, keep dreaming, keep giving, and always be a little bit kinder than we have to be.
Thank you, Dolly, for being an inspiration to me and to so many others. Thank you for showing us that a girl with big hair, big dreams, and an even bigger heart can change the world.
There will never, ever be another Dolly.🤍✨
