Did you know?
NY State collects over 140 MILLION DOLLARS annually on unredeemed bottles/cans!
This revenue goes into their general fund for them to spend at will. Yes, the state keeps your deposit money.
If you do not redeem your containers, please donate them to an organization that would benefit from your nickels, not the State.

Happy Earth Day!
Two-Can Dan's is proud to be one of the leading recyclers inYates Co! Yearly we collect over 10 million containers that will never reach the landfill.
Annually, we collect enough aluminum cans to build a 747 jet, and enough plastic bottles to stretch over 630 miles if laid end for end.
Her in our little community, WE do this, not us. Thank you to everyone of you that keeps these containers out of the landfills to set and rot for 40+ years.
Together, we make our community a better place!

If you leave your bags outside, turn them upside down so they don't collect nature.
(Rain, snow, leaves etc)

Many have asked about the "HVC" on the exterior of our building. The photo on the right is from the early 1900's when Hammondsport Vintage Co. purchased the property from the Buren elevator co. This property has been commercial for over 120 years! There has been obvious additions, but what you see in this photo is still standing and in use today!
