West Windsor homeowner called us about noises in the attic and droppings he thought were from mice. 🐭

Turned out it was bats. 🦇

We found four entry points: a torn garage vent screen, a gap letting in daylight, a vent someone covered with taped plywood, and a front vent with an open gap at the top.

2 months of noises in the attic… our drone found out why 😳🦝

This West Windsor, NJ homeowner kept hearing scratching overhead. We sent up the drone to inspect the roofline and found a raccoon-sized hole at the back of the house. Inside the attic: a full raccoon latrine.

Hi neighbors 👋 October is when mice start looking for a warm place to spend the winter, and our phones in Roselle and Princeton Junction always pick up around now.

A few signs to keep an eye out for:
• Small dark droppings (about the size of a grain of rice) under sinks, in pantries, or along walls
• Scratching sounds at night, especially in walls or ceilings
• Chewed food packaging or shredded paper and insulation
• Dark smudge marks along baseboards where they travel

Quick tip: mice can squeeze through a gap about the size of a dime, so check where pipes and wires come into the house and the bottom of your garage door.

Our customer called thinking a raccoon got back into her attic. She's had raccoon problems before, and we took care of it, so we sent the drone up to take a closer look.

Here's what we found 👇
⚠️ Multiple shingles ripped off at the front peak of the roof, leaving a gap where water can get into the attic
⚠️ Another missing shingle on the left side, a small spot that can still lead to water damage

✅ Good news: the raccoon doesn't look like it's actually getting inside. It's just tearing up the roof.

The plan: She'll need a roofer to repair the damage, and we're setting a trap to catch this guy 🪤
