RCAP Meet & Greet Reception Dinner Guest Speaker: Bob Kelly joined the FOX 29 News team in October 2014 as the traffic reporter for "Good Day Philadelphia." In that role he also hosts the regular morning segments "Kelly's Classroom," "Breakfast with Bob," and "Town Takeover," all which take him out into the community to connect with "Good Day Philadelphia" viewers. He's also co-hosted the Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade for more than 15 years.

Prior to joining FOX 29, Bob was the Traffic Anchor for 13 years at CBS 3 in Philadelphia. He became the first Philadelphia traffic anchor to do his reports in front of the green screen. Animated and fun to watch with his highly popular phrases like Jammo, Two Jelly Donut Delay, and the Conshy Curve, Bob is now referred to by so many as "The Dean of Traffic."

Through the years, the Emmy Award-winning Traffic Anchor has entertained sports fans on the Jumbotron at the Eagles, Flyers and Sixers games, and with his popular segment "Tailgate Takeover," before Eagles games.

Growing up in Northeast Philadelphia where they always decorate for Christmas, he created "A Very Kelly Christmas," hitting the road during the month of December and broadcasting LIVE from the front lawns of the best decorated houses.

Bob began his career as a radio disc jockey, working with Jerry Blavat, The Geator.

He worked up and down the dial at Philly's hottest radio stations, until traffic became news and he joined KYW News Radio with Traffic on the 2s.

A Northeast Philadelphia native, Bob knows all the neighborhoods, the landmarks, and the best place to get a great jelly donut. A graduate of North Catholic High School and Temple University, he is a local guy through and through. $40 attendance fee. 🩷

Bill served in the military, where he provided critical, secure communications for major military operations. In the 80’s, he worked to develop Just-In-Time Printing solutions for corporate clients such as Boeing, Rockwell, EDS, and McDonnell Douglas.

Bill has also been on the forefront of the 3D Printing revolution sweeping the industry today and provides Rapid Prototyping for the Confectionary, Aerospace, Oil, and Gas Industries.

More recently, two new companies were created in response to market needs not being met; The first, A Specialty Box (.com), is a high-end specialty packaging company providing Luxury Confectionery packaging that allows small to medium-sized companies the ability to compete with larger competitors without the need to purchase large quantities of custom packaging. This company was one of the first to provide online ordering with products fulfilled on-demand as needed. The other, WKI LLC, focused on emerging Web based communication and e-commerce systems.

Bill’s present position on the Kettle Club Board for the U.S.A. affords him the opportunity to work with top suppliers and manufacturers of confection equipment and products, both nationally and internationally, providing insight as to what the future needs of the industry may be.

In 2010, Glacier Confection was launched to provide high-quality artisan chocolate to clients both domestic and international. Focusing on the finest cacao and ingredients available across the globe, this company was created to allow a better understanding of the needs of his confectionary clients.
