Facilitating is an art. Sitting or standing at the front of a room isn't facilitating. This article by Women Facilitating is a great description of all that goes into facilitation of a powerful conversation - regardless of the facilitator's gender. Add horses to the mix and the complexity increases 10 fold! 😁🐓

I stopped setting "new year's resolutions" many years ago because I ended up disappointing myself, which was never good for my self-esteem.

With the advent of social media, and the increase in people who call themselves personal coaches, we are inundated with messages in the months leading up to the new year that if we want to be successful, we have to set clear goals.

I'm certainly not against setting goals - I do that for myself and my business all the time.

In early 2025, I set a goal to participate in my first dog agility trial in May of that year. My dog and I had been taking agility lessons for 2 years - but hadn't planned to compete. My new instructor in Colorado, encouraged me to compete to see what it's like.

Setting that goal pushed me to practice so I wouldn't feel like a complete idiot at the agility trial. That first competition wasn't pretty - but we did it. And that pushed me to sign up for the next one in July, and another in November, and another last weekend. I set small goals for each competition to just improve on at least one thing and each competition we achieved that. What I didn't do was set a goal of achieving an agility championship in 2025 - that wasn't going to happen.

Progress is often quieter and more meaningful than we expect.

In our recent episode of the Leading With Instinct podcast, Katie Bradley, ACC and I discuss the challenges of setting goals and how to do it in a way that allows for course correction when unexpected things try to block progress.

If you struggle to set goals because you don't want to disappoint yourself or others, I encourage you to listen to our conversation and learn from horses on how to still get to your destination when things in the environment shift.

🌿 It’s here. Just in time for the upcoming Year of the Horse in 2026.

I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my new learning opportunity: The Art of Attunement: Advanced EAL Practitioner Masterclass, opening November 23, 2025.

This advanced training is designed specifically for EAL practitioners who are already certified in an equine-assisted learning modality and are ready to fine-tune their ability to create truly transformational experiences for their clients.

If you’ve mastered the fundamentals but want to deepen your presence, sharpen your awareness, and elevate your facilitation to the next level, this masterclass is your next step.

You’ll be learning from someone actively facilitating equine-assisted leadership and team development with global companies, using the same advanced attunement and observational skills required in high-stakes organizational environments.

This isn’t about adding more activities and it's not another certification.

It’s about building on your skills and becoming the facilitator who can read subtle energy shifts, recognize emotional thresholds, and translate equine feedback into profound, actionable human insight — with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

If you’re ready to expand your impact, registration opens November 23, 2025.

✨ The horses are waiting.

EAL Professionals develop their capabilities as facilitators to provide powerful, transformational experiences for their clients which leads to business growth and sustainability.

We’ve all had those moments where we ā€œjust knewā€. We had a feeling, perhaps a ā€œgut feelingā€ that one direction was right and another was not. There’s no proof or evidence that can help you know for sure. But there is a a tug toward action that gets acted upon, or ignored. Looking back on these moments leads us to understand that is often true that those instincts were valid.

In this episode of the Leading With Instinct podcast, Ginny & Katie explore the concept of intuitive intelligence and its significance in leadership and decision-making.

They discuss how intuition can complement rational and emotional intelligence, the challenges leaders face in decision-making, and share personal experiences that highlight the importance of listening to one's gut feelings.

The conversation also delves into the lessons learned from horses about intuition and instinct and offers practical strategies for leaders to enhance their intuitive intelligence.

Change. What did you feel in your body when you read the word? If you are like many of us right now, it created a sense of discomfort.

In episode 2 of the Leading With Instinct podcast, Ginny Telego and Katie Navarra Bradley have an authentic conversation about what people are experiencing right now with change happening at a mind-boggling pace. We also talk about what we've learned from horses about navigating change and how we can build change resilience from learning to be in a state of "relaxed readiness."
