I am in need of legal assistance or advice in the matter of the loss of my business and money spent to restore the property where it was located. In November 2018, I moved onto the property in Penrose, CO. where I lived and worked with the SSA and DVR building my horse boarding business, and made substantial investment into the business and property .I was promised by the owner that I would be allowed to buy the property at a price reflective of any investment I made so I spent $28,000 cleaning up 1,488,000 pounds of garbage, restored the 10 stall horse barn, did electrical repair, plumbing repair, painted or stained inside and out, replaced almost all fixtures, paid for 3/4 of the materials for the new roof, and much much more. Covid 19 hit us hard what with travel restrictions causing people not to travel with their horses and then in August 2020 the landlord rescinded on our agreements and evicted me. I countered for my invested money and filed a lien but the court did not allow any of my evidence to be seen and even denied me council so I lost in court. I have been unsuccessful in retaining an attorney to represent me in filing an appeal or initiating a civil suit therefore I have suffered a great loss not only of money but of my business and years of hard work. The property wqs recently sold for $275,000 and this would not have been possible withou my investment. If any one can help me or direct me to someone who can I would greatly appreciate it. There are before and after photos included in this post and I have plenty of neighbors who will attest to my expense
