Hurricane Claim Basics

Hurricane Claim Basics Providing homeowners with strategic information to navigate insurance claims after catastrophic loss. I'm Andy Waltrip, a Public Adjuster in Pensacola, FL.

It's been a while since I posted here. I'm about to head down to South Florida's storm area after Hurricane Ian. It's always a mixed bag with a lot of devastation.
If you're on this page, you know I'm a Public Adjuster.
Some people don't know what PAs do. Well, we help people navigate the insurance claim process. It can be daunting! ...ask someone who's tried to do it on their own. It's super frustrating even when you know the rules, and much more so if you don't.
If you believe that you probably shouldn't go to court without hiring a professional to represent you, you should probably think the same about the claim process. Find someone that you can trust and have them help you.
I started this page as an impromptu way to answer questions for friends and neighbors. If the videos can help someone you know, please share them.
If you know me and feel comfortable recommending me to someone you know in the affected area, I'll attach my flyer below so you can pass it on. Thanks,
Andy

Hi guys! Here's the link to AOB - FL Office of Insurance Regulation:

An Assignment of Benefits, or an AOB, is a document signed by a policyholder that allows a third party, such as a water extraction company, a roofer, or a plumber, to “stand in the shoes” of the insured and seek payment directly from the policyholder’s insurance company.
