RADFORD AND NIX CONSTRUCTION is currently hiring for FOUR positions. We are currently looking to hire TWO concrete laborers who will have the opportunity to learn how to finish concrete and learn to operate the curb machine. We love to promote within.

We are also looking for TWO general laborers for two of our grade crews. You will be able to learn how to do various things with these grade crews such as read plans, set and check grades, operate heavy equipment, etc.

We don’t just offer jobs, we offer careers.

Must have transportation to and from the office everyday. Must be a team player. The pay has been set to be extremely competitive and will be discussed upon an interview. Alright folks I know it’s hot outside, but it’s that season again. Schools out !! I have room to hire a 1 young person that is on summer break. This is something I take personal and handle on my own as an effort to have a positive impact in a young person’s life. Must be 16 or older and have transportation to and from our shop on Pine Forest Rd just North of the Pine Forest Rd and Blue Angel/Longleaf intersection. 7014 Pine Forest Rd. I am very flexible for times that arise to where the person may need to take off to handle things for the up and coming school year or any summer extra curriculum activities (baseball,football,band, etc). All I ask is communication. We are currently looking for a person to put in our l**e truck to fuel, grease, and maintain our equipment. Person must have a CDL preferably with hazmat and tankers. However, if you have a CDL without hazmat and tankers we will pay for you to get the hazmat and tankers endorsements. CDL must be clean of points and insurance requires you to have it for at least three years. Person must be willing to get filthy everyday. Uniforms will be provided after 30 days at no cost to the employee. We are looking for a person to not only drive the truck and service the equipment, but to also take charge in regard to our maintenance program. This is not just a job opportunity.
