Ideawörks is a Pensacola-based digital and PR agency with more than 450 industry awards for branding, public relations and digital marketing. Our measure of success is not based on awards, but on the fact that we have grown as a result of client referrals. Our philosophy is to spend each client’s money as if it is our own and to provide a true and measurable value for every dollar spent with our firm, without exception. We are philosophers, scientists, artists and technologists, who approach every project with a mix of creativity, data-informed strategy, cutting edge digital savvy and — not least of all — a whole lot of heart. Just before Juneteenth, students and staff from McRae-Gaines Learning Center in Selma, Alabama, took a powerful field trip to the Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Sites in Montgomery.

The visit gave students a meaningful opportunity to learn about slavery, freedom, resilience and the contributions of African Americans throughout our nation’s history.

Moments like this are why we do what we do.

It is a privilege to help schools find and secure grant funding for experiences that open minds, spark important conversations and give children the chance to connect with history in unforgettable ways.

This trip was made possible through funding from the National Park Trust, and we are so grateful to them and to McRae-Gaines Learning Center that we can play a small part in creating opportunities like this for young learners.
