When you think about writing and publishing, you may think.... "I am going to be rich!", or, "I just have a story to tell". If your story is, in fact, successful in the marketplace, you may be set up with royalties. Royalties are a type of passive income, that continue to come in, even when you aren't actively doing the work. Making a product is great, but imagine making a product that people have to pay to use over and over again. It's really great! Here is an article to explain a little more.
