Small businesses rely on dollars EVERY single day, so when a tragedy like this happens, it hurts. We get it.
That's why...We are so grateful to this community for all of the support for our local businesses. We want to thank Mayor D.C. Reeves and the city, FPL, ECUA and all who helped get this community back on its feet so quickly.

We know we still have a little ways to go (and a lot of piles of debris) but we are getting there. We are also happy to see that CWR (formerly Roads Inc) is back on the job today on West Garden and working hard to finish the construction.

If you are a small business in the boundaries of Cervantes to Main and Spring to V St. contact us for more informations about our organization and how you might be a part of this amazing new group to give West Downtown a voice and support.

We are diligently working on getting the Holiday Shopping event ready. More details soon.

We would like to take this time to say thank you to all who are working double time to get things back to normal after Hurricane
Isaias came to visit.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for this community, for every small business that has taken a direct hit, or the indirect hit of economic loss due to this storm.

We are praying for our entire community.
Be kind, hang tough and we will get through this difficult time together. Please support local businesses-always, but now more than ever.

Great news on West Garden!
1. In case you have not noticed, all DETOUR signs have been removed from the West Garden Corridor construction project per our request.

2. Crews are supposed to be starting tonight and working tirelessly to try to get as much of the B intersection completed as possible before this horrible storm comes our way.

3. I also have confirmed that all paving will be completed at night when the businesses are closed.

You have not because you ask not....we asked and FDOT is delivering. Thank you to FDOT for accommodating our requests. A big shout out to Todd Thomson, President of Greater Pensacola Chamber and Brian Wyer, President of Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce, along with Mayor D.C. Reeves for their support in this situation.

Praying safety over all businesses and residences in this area during this approaching storm.

Don't even ask me how I feel right now about this storm. I might cry!

Working for you,
Angie Carter-Rosier
President, West Garden Business Association
