On Friday, December 6, my brother will have worked for 78 years. To commemorate this event, Peoria Riverfront Museum has decided to show his film twice that day; once at noon and again at 2:30. A lot of his customers had expressed disappointment that they didn't see it during its lengthy initial run but here it is again. Well, here's your chance. He'll close the shop at 2 that day and head to the museum, the only multidisciplinary museum of its kind in the nation with one of the biggest screens in the nation.

Peoria's well-established friend (and my brother) George Manias of George's Shoeshine & Hatters - World Headquarters has had his short biography running at the Peoria Riverfront Museum on their Giant Screen since early December. It's showing for a while longer this month and it would be nice for each of you to see it. 3/17 at 4. 3/21-3/25 at 4. 3/28 at 4. We don't know if the film will get extended.
