We have a wide variety of products and are ready to meet your every need from initial consultations and recommendations to distribution and follow up. Prentiss and Thomas Carter established Carter Paper in 1954 after they realized the need for a reliable distributor of paper and packaging supplies. As a woman / family owned and operated business, the second generation of family members leads Carte

r Paper & Packaging, including our president, Connie Elling. Today, Carter Paper occupies a 55,000 square foot facility and employs 13 sales and service personnel to meet your every need from initial consultations and recommendations to distribution and follow up. Next day service is available on most purchases, and we offer free local delivery with a minimum purchase requirement.

Carter Paper & Packaging has got you covered! We’re excited to offer a great selection of products, including foil rolls, wraps, pans, paper food trays, to-go containers, plastic stretch wrap, and biodegradable single-use items like bowls and utensils. We also have hand sanitizers and durable wipers!

Today at Carter Paper, we are choosing to celebrate! Not a big surprise there!

Did you bring your lunch for Brown Bag It Thursday? Remember, those brown paper bags are reusable to a point, and then they are 100% compostable! We at Carter Paper are always looking for one more way to help the environment, and planting a pollinator garden to encourage bees, butterflies, and other helpful insects is something everyone can do! If you have a large yard or a single flower pot, you can make a difference! Your used paper bags even make decent w**d block for your garden beds and will naturally decay! 🌼🐝

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Kelsey! 🌟

Today, we are thrilled to highlight our accounting specialist, Kelsey! Hailing from Bloomington, Kelsey is the oldest of six siblings and is a proud mom to two amazing kiddos, alongside her wonderful husband, Travis.

Kelsey has worked at Carter Paper for the past two years. When she's not busy crunching numbers and analyzing spreadsheets..not her most favorite things for sure...you might find her cherishing moments with her family, diving into and getting lost in good books, staying active with her workouts and generally looking to improve life for her family and those around her.

To that end it is a bittersweet and exciting news that Kelsey will be heading back to school this fall to pursue a degree at ISU!

Please join us in both thanking Kelsey for the great job she does at Carter Paper as well as encourage her to continue to pursue growth for herself and her family!
