We had an amazing time at our annual Christmas dinner—an evening filled with so much laughter, stories, and unforgettable memories. From White Elephant gift exchanges to celebrating Jobeth’s birthday with cake, balloons, and presents, the night was absolutely perfect! 🎂🎁

We’ve had our Christmas party for a few years now, and it never disappoints.🙌🏼 The upstairs privacy gives our team the perfect space to relax and enjoy quality time together, and the food is always incredible!👏🏼 So, thank you to the Wharf for the amazing hospitality!

Brainerd Lakes Area- stay safe durirng this extreme cold!❄️ As we face severe cold weather today and tomorrow, we encourage everyone to take extra precautions—especially our seniors, who are more vulnerable in extreme temperatures.

While many of you are taking steps at home to stay safe, we want to share how our assisted living communities are protecting residents during this cold snap. Our teams take every initiative to ensure resident safety and well-being by keeping residents indoors, encouraging hydration, providing warm and nutritious meals, keeping residents active with engaging indoor activities, regular safety checks, and maintaining a warm, cozy environment—including keeping the fireplace on.

We had the best time at this year’s Christmas Conference with our clients at Golden Horizons!🤩 We laughed, bonded and shared stories over dinner, awards and games night one.👏🏼 Our cheeks hurt from all the laughter! The second day we enjoyed and grew from engaging presentations from our local regional ombudsman, SFM workman’s comp, clinical education, HR education and learning more about our individual personalities!
It was such a blast and we are so blessed to work with so many great people!🙌🏼

Happy New Year from our Management Team! ✨

2025 was truly a year.
A busy year. A crazy year. An amazing year.

As we reflect back, we are incredibly proud of all that was accomplished together. We successfully completed six full state surveys—each one a success. We welcomed new, amazing clients who brought fresh excitement, meaningful partnerships, and renewed joy to the work we do every day. We also added new team members whose impact has been truly transformative, strengthening our operations and culture in powerful ways.

Throughout the year, we focused on growth and sustainability. We established more efficient processes and policies to better support the clients and communities we serve. We experienced the strongest occupancy our sites have ever seen, with most our communities close to, at—or above—100% occupancy throughout the full 2025 year. With many months of our sites being at 97% plus at the same time, which hadn't been done before! Alongside that, we saw some of the best staffing outcomes in our history, marked by increased longevity, stronger engagement, and enhanced recognition through well-established, intentional programs.

We also reached important regulatory milestones, including unsubstantiated OHFCs, and continued to show up proudly at industry expos, food shows, client holiday parties, and many other events that brought connection and smiles along the way.

One of our greatest accomplishments this year was the strong, consistent leadership at each site—with steady guidance throughout the year. That consistency made all the difference.

Of course, 2025 wasn’t without its challenges, but even with the stressful moments, there were also some of the best moments filled with laughter, teamwork, growth, and genuine joy. Those moments are what made the year so meaningful.

As we step into 2026, we do so with gratitude, pride, and excitement. We truly feel the best is yet to come, and we can’t wait to see what the next year brings. We are aiming this next year at continued sustainability and growth for our current clients who we cherish, and more growth for clients and additions to our team.

Thank you to our clients, partners, leaders, and incredible teams for being part of this journey. We wouldn't be where we are today without you all.

Each year, a cluster of our clients participates in what we call the Golden Giving Initiative! That cluster of sister facilities are to pick an organziation in their area to give back to. They must, as a team, with residents, families and the community, work together to bring Christmas magic to people or animals in need in their area! Each year it's been different, we've had adopt a grandparent with no one for christmas, collecting items for a local animal shelter, writing letters or creating care packages for veterans or active military and so on! It has been so fun and inspiring to see what these communities come up with each year. Together, they are making hundreds of impacts each Christmas season!
