Ever go for walks on the trail and find yourself pestered by annoying, biting insects?

Then you’ve met Aedes canadensis–also known as the Woodland Mosquito. These ladies love the cool, moist microclimate of forests and will frequently bite during the day.

It’s very common for them to hatch and mature from eggs laid where snowmelt pools later form.

If you’d like an expert check of your property to ensure those spots get cleared up before spring, call us to schedule a free mosquito control inspection. 🦟 (218) 821-8189

Kids can pick up colds and flus in the fall like nobody’s business. But what they don’t need to pick up are chemicals in your yard from getting it treated for over-wintering ticks.

Thankfully, all the products we use at Mosquito Man are safe for your kids to play and breathe around.

Because we believe your yard is a space to enjoy, not avoid. 🤸‍♀️

The Brainerd Lakes Area includes multiple bogs, each of which forms the perfect habitat for Coquillettidia perturbans (aka the Cattail Mosquito).

If your property abuts a wetland or other marshy area, keep an eye out for these persistent biters. Their unique survival trait allows larvae to breathe by attaching directly to underwater plant roots.

We can identify mosquito habitats on your property during our free mosquito control inspections. Call us to schedule yours for next week: (218) 821-8189 📞🦟

Remembering 25 years ago and hearing about the devastation at the World Trade Center in New York City. Small-town Breezy Point, MN can seem really far away from NYC at times, but I think every single American felt shaken that day. No matter how diverse we are, as Americans we all still touch each other's lives.

Here's hoping all the survivors have peace today.

Our customers experience the pleasure of lounging in their yards, free from the fear of tick and mosquito bites. Customers like Aaron:

“We’ve had a seasonal application package for mosquito and tick control with Mosquito Man since 2015. Living near the Mississippi River bottom, near the diseases transmitted by these pests, makes treatment a must.

“The applications have been completed on schedule and effectively kept pests away. Jeff gives us a heads up when he’s coming, checks in periodically to ensure efficiency of the product, and always makes himself available for adhoc applications for events outside of our scheduled treatments.

“With competitive pricing and great customer service, we continue to use Mosquito Man going into our 8th year.”

Puddles from summer rains can be a fun place to splash. They’re also temporary breeding pools for Aedes vexans–the floodwater mosquito.

This aggressive biter loves to hunt at dusk and dawn, so protect yourself and let us spray your lawn. Then you can say “goodbye” to Minnesota’s most common and abundant nuisance mosquito. 🦟 (218) 821-8189
