✨Jirocco made his hunter debut, placing 4th in the national derby and earning reserve champion in the USHJA 3’3
✨Kastaar Van Overis Z brought home a win in the 1.10 and finished champion

Calvert Equine has a few stalls available for training or sales! Specializing in jumpers, hunters, and young horses. We take pride in bringing horses and riders along at their own pace and creating an environment for them to learn and thrive in.

We are located in Perkasie, PA and travel to shows along the east coast during the summer and Ocala, FL in the winter.

Extremely grateful to have a partner that has learned and grown alongside me these last 8 (almost 9 🤯) years 🧡
Jumping 1.40 classes was just a dream when Rocco walked into the barn as a 2 year old. From riding him for the first time, to his first jumps, to our first Grand Prix, I am so proud of how far we’ve come.
Looking forward to the summer and making more memories ☀️

So proud of how far Lenny has come 🥹
He returned to the jumper ring this winter, starting in the .80 and moving up to the 1.20 by the end of the circuit. He earned a ribbon each week he showed 🏅
Last year, we spent some time training as a hunter to slow things down, simplify his job, and build his confidence. He even earned a ribbon in his first national derby. This slower training approach allowed him to grow in self-confidence, skill, and trust.
Lenny is talented, scopey and careful- all the things a horse needs to be successful. However, at the end of the day, what he needed most was time, a lot of patience, and someone to continuously believe in him, even through the growing pains.
