A hull came out of the mold yesterday.
This is the part nobody outside the shop ever sees.
The mold gets waxed and sprayed, the glass goes in by hand, and then it sits.
When it's ready, the hoist takes the weight and a whole boat comes up out of a hole in the floor that it has been sitting in for weeks.
One guy on the chain. Everybody else watching to make sure she comes up clean.
Every hull we build starts exactly like this, and every one of them belongs to somebody before it's ever pulled. This one's already spoken for. It's a new concept we're building with its owner.
