Terrarium Tuesday!! Featuring one of our newest plant adventures!

A terrarium is a transparent, sealable enclosure (usually glass or clear plastic) designed as a miniature ecosystem for growing plants. The term comes from the Latin terra (earth) and -arium (a place for), essentially meaning a terrestrial version of an aquarium!

We want to take a moment to share a little more about who we are and what we do. 🌱
Our place is more than just a garden center — we are a vocational training environment where adults with developmental disabilities learn valuable workplace skills, including customer service, plant care, organization, and daily job responsibilities.
Every day, our team works alongside individuals with a variety of abilities. Some of our individuals are nonverbal, and all of them are learning, growing, and contributing in their own unique ways. A visit with us may look a little different than a traditional retail experience, because our mission is not only about selling plants — it is about creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping individuals develop skills for the future.
As we endure this heat wave, we are also making adjustments to protect our participants, staff, and plants while continuing to provide the best experience possible.
We are incredibly thankful for our regular customers who understand and support our mission. Your patience, encouragement, and kindness help make this a place where everyone belongs.
