🌿 Temporary Closure Due to Hazardous Air Quality 🌿

Out of concern for the health and safety of both our customers and our staff, Hilltop Growing Center will be closing for the remainder of today.

Your garden will still be there tomorrow, and we look forward to helping you once conditions improve.

Thank you for your understanding, your continued support of our small business, and for helping us put people first. Please take care of yourselves, limit time outdoors if possible, and stay safe.

If you were planning to visit us today, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your grace and understanding.💚

We want to take a moment to share a little more about who we are and what we do. 🌱
Our place is more than just a garden center — we are a vocational training environment where adults with developmental disabilities learn valuable workplace skills, including customer service, plant care, organization, and daily job responsibilities.
Every day, our team works alongside individuals with a variety of abilities. Some of our individuals are nonverbal, and all of them are learning, growing, and contributing in their own unique ways. A visit with us may look a little different than a traditional retail experience, because our mission is not only about selling plants — it is about creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping individuals develop skills for the future.
As we endure this heat wave, we are also making adjustments to protect our participants, staff, and plants while continuing to provide the best experience possible.
We are incredibly thankful for our regular customers who understand and support our mission. Your patience, encouragement, and kindness help make this a place where everyone belongs.
If you have visited us and appreciate what we do, we would be grateful if you would consider leaving us an honest 5-star review. Your support helps others understand our purpose and helps our program continue to grow.
Thank you for supporting not just a garden center, but the individuals who make our community a better place. 🌻
