✨✨The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.

Running a business is really hard.
What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid-back people.
People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.
Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.
You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.
Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work-life balance.
You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All the while being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...
There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed.
It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.
Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives.
Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!
And know that 2022 prices are not 2023 prices.

I will be returning to work from maternity leave in a couple short weeks. Ill be working on scheduling and sending everyone their cleaning dates soon. I have had to switch my working days to accommodate my husbands work schedule and around our new addition. So currently i was working Wednesday to fridays. I will now be open mondays to Wednesday. Sorry if that inconveniences anyone. Looking forward to seeing yall soon!

I will be going on maternity leave effective march 25th, unless he has other plans of coming earlier, for 6 to 8 weeks. Ill return early to mid may!

CANCELATION POLICY

I need atleast 48 hours notice of cancelation. Subject to be charged to pay full amount of cleaning if canceled without 48 hours of notice, unless there is an emergency such as sickness that you believe i should not come.

Holidays i will reschedule to fit you in before the holidays or after depending when you are scheduled to be serviced.

Vacations are not part of the emergency part of me coming.
You pay for a spot on my schedule and i rely on those spots/income.

Monthly clients that have to skip or reschedule i will have to add a $20 extra fee because it is extra work to get the house in order exceeding a month.

If I for any reason need to cancel or reschedule this policy is void and you will not be billed/charged for the cleaning and or overage fee.
