Garden Update, 6/5/2026: Our garden has really benefited from the recent rain! This year's varieties are: Arikara sunflowers, Arikara squash, Arikara watermelons, Wichita corn, Wichita squash, and Cherokee Trail of Tears beans.

Good morning, everyone! Our last meeting until September is this week, Wednesday, November May 20th at 7pm central time via Zoom! We'll have special guest speaker, Brandon Tully discussing his thesis titled, "Architectural and Cultural Variation in the Texas Panhandle: The 1996 Texas Archeological Society Field School at the Harrison-Greenbelt Site (41DY17)". We will miss our dear friend Sam

Samuel David Gruver, 75, of Lexington, Oklahoma, formerly of Gruver, Texas passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 in Norman, Oklahoma. Viewing will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 from 1200 p.m. to 900 p.m., and Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 900 a.m. to 1130 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home
