METAL/FREON RECYCLING
All appliances must be cleaned out before drop-off.
For appliances containing freon, do not attempt to remove or drain the freon yourself. Our vendor will handle the proper recovery and disposal.
All gas & oil containing items MUST be drained before drop-off.
Our metal/Freon recycling program provides a responsible way to dispose of unwanted metal and freon-containing items. Proper disposal helps protect the environment, keeps hazardous materials out of landfills and waterways, and promotes a safer community.
We accept a variety of metal and freon containing items, including:
Metal bathtubs, bed frames, bikes, fencing, sinks, and filing cabinets
Fuel & gas tanks (must be drained)
Furnaces, grills, stoves, and ovens
Lawn mowers & chainsaws (must be drained)
Washers, dryers, & microwaves
Swing set & trampoline frames
Water heaters
Miscellaneous scrap metal
Refrigerators & freezers
Dehumidifiers
Water coolers & water dispensers
Air conditioners
Stop by during business hours to safely dispose of your metal and fron containing items. You are responsible for unloading your vehicle.
For drop-off, check in at the office with a valid ID.

You must be a Miami County resident or business owner with your account in good standing to use our services. Programs, prices, and limits are subject to change without notice. We are required to check you in using the address shown on your ID. Annual disposal limits reset on January 1.
