SIX PEDESTAL VITRINES | PRIVATE COLLECTION

Clear enough to disappear.

Six white-painted tabletop pedestals by Miremont Millwork , each capped with one of our flawless Tru Vue Optium acrylic vitrines — anti-reflective and UV-filtering, the same acrylic we spec for museum and conservation work.

The vitrines run across six sizes, proportioned to sit together as a set. Optium reads as near-invisible from every angle, so nothing stands between the eye and what’s inside.

Optium blocks 98% of UV, reflects less than 1.6% of light, and holds over 97% light transmission. Abrasion-resistant hard coat on both faces.

TREASURES OF THE PHARAOHS | DE YOUNG MUSEUM

3,000 years of history, one US stop.

130 artifacts from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the Luxor Museum — gold, granite, and objects from the newly unearthed Golden City near Luxor. San Francisco is the only US city hosting it.

Every case in the exhibition is ours. Museum-grade acrylic, built to hold everything from an 11-pound solid-gold collar to monumental stone, nearly eliminating the separation between the viewer and the object.

On view at the de Young through January 31, 2027.

OPTIUM FOR THE OBAMA PORTRAIT | OBAMA PRESIDENTIAL CENTER

This monumental artwork needed monumental protection.

Paradise Framing brought us in to glaze the first official portrait of President and Mrs. Obama — “The Obamas: Springing Forth, 2026” by Njideka Akunyili Crosby — now on view in the museum’s Hope and Change Lobby.

Double-seamed Tru Vue Optium acrylic, 124 7/8” wide x 112 13/16” tall. Optium’s largest stock sheet is 72” x 120”. We seam acrylic panels to build oversized glazing for oversized work — anti-reflective, UV-filtering, the standard for museum conservation.

THERMOFORMING ACRYLIC RING SECTIONS | WASHINGTON DC COLLEGE

Dozens of rings, three sizes, three sets of forms.

The largest ring spans 96 inches across. We built the forms in-house, three sets matched to three diameters, before any acrylic was cut.

Panels CNC-cut to length, heated through in our large-format IR oven, then drawn over the forms while the acrylic is workable.

None of the sections come off whole. Each is shaped in halves and seam-bonded to true radius before assembly.

THE OBJECT DICTATES THE DISPLAY
Black on black, refracted.

A large smoke quartz mineral, displayed on its own terms.

The base is mirror-finish black acrylic. The reflection opens new viewing angles that would otherwise be lost.

A clear acrylic case, its thickness chosen to echo the crystals it holds.

MAYS & MONTANA | CANDLESTICK PARK
Built around the artifacts.

A private commission for two seats from Candlestick Park, signed by Willie Mays and Joe Montana. Both played home games here — Mays for the Giants beginning in 1960, Montana for the 49ers from 1979. The stadium was decommissioned in 2014. Its 1960–2014 dedication medallion is mounted on the back of the seats.

Walnut base with a wire-brushed, stained finish and an antiqued brass nameplate by Miremont Millwork. Tru Vue Optium museum acrylic vitrine — anti-reflective, UV-filtering — to keep the signatures from fading by Architectural Plastics, Inc.
