The session, Generational Healing, will set the stage for the 7th Annual Black Mental Wellness Conference: Healing Across Generations by exploring how mental health, coping strategies, cultural strengths, and community experiences have evolved across generations within the Black community.

Panelists representing diverse age groups and professional backgrounds will reflect on the historical, cultural, and social contexts that have shaped mental health experiences for youth, adults, and elders. Through dialogue and storytelling, the discussion will highlight the ways generational wisdom, resilience, and evolving conversations around mental health can foster deeper understanding and collective healing.

Nu Directions Behavioral Health, LLC was outside today at the 6th Annual Virginia Black Business Expo!!

We truly enjoyed shopping with some AMAZING vendors, being educated by some OUTSTANDING guest speaker’s, networking with some AWESOME business entrepreneurs, and building new relationships and connections with like-minded individuals who not only want to win but also wants to see YOU WIN!!

One of our favorite authors was in the building!!! KiKi Swinson, thank you so much for the conversation, the hugs, and most of all the LOVE! We can’t WAIT to dive into this “Cheaper to Keep Her” series😍

Shoutout to the incredible President and CEO of the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Ernisha M. Hall! It was such a pleasure to meet you! Such a humble spirit!! Thank you for all you do, especially when it comes to BLACK EXCELLENCE!!🙏🏾❤️
