The Indiana First Region announced yesterday that its total funding allotment from the Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative, or READI 1.0, has been dispersed.

The $15 million allocation supported more than 15 projects, with a heavy focus on expanding housing opportunities across the southwest Indiana region, including Harrison, Knox, Perry, Pike and Spencer counties.

Pike County is thankful for the funding that boosted our Affordable Housing Program and studied and made recommendations for the Southwest Indiana Megasite.
