Great news at Kearney Raceway Park

‼️We have exciting news to share‼️
as with any significant announcement, we will provide you with the first update here on social media.

PLEASE SHARE!!

Due to recent developments and projects in the local area, we have been granted the opportunity to repave the entire 1/4 Mile Drag strip. This project is highly anticipated and will undoubtedly enhance the track’s functionality. ‼️WE WILL NEED EVERYONES HELP! ‼️
Its not often like us to put the cart before the
Horse, but this is an opportunity we can not miss!

However, it is important to note that the repaving project will be subject to the timeline set by the airport’s runway project. Consequently, our season will conclude at the ET Finals.

Our final race of 2026 will be held at Kearney Raceway Park from September 11th to 13th. The event schedule will be announced shortly.

Repaving will commence shortly after the airport’s runway project is completed, either immediately following the ET Finals or during the same period.

Initial expressions of our gratitude, we would like to acknowledge the contributions of Grant Olsen, Kearney Airport, Constructors INC, and Kirk Johnson; Total Venue Concepts!

This project is of considerable magnitude, and we encourage you to stay informed about potential financial contributions that will be needed to support this endeavor and ensure the long-term viability of our track.

As always, we recognize that success at KRP relies on the collective efforts of our community. We can not do this alone.

Personal favor: this is big news we are aware. And many questions will be asked/discussed. This Saturday 9/5 is our daughter’s wedding. Please be respectful and understanding when we may not respond Friday/Saturday. If you are attending the festivities, we look forward to seeing you all! Let’s party first!! buisness later! 😉

We love our friends at the Million

Let’s give a little credit to the guys who are at the track working before most racers are even out of bed—and who are still there long after racing is over, making sure everyone has a safe, fair and competitive surface. That’s exactly what Randy Lee and Tyler Crossnoe will be doing at the Moser Engineering Mini Million next weekend.

As always at our events, we’ve worked closely with Total Venue Concepts to ensure our racers have a fair and consistent racing surface from the first pair down the track to the last.

These guys put in some incredibly long hours behind the scenes, and their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. We appreciate everything they do to keep the track ready and the racing competitive! 🏁
