One of our customers gave us white pine logs that had been sitting for a couple years! Instead of going to waste, they're now milled into beautiful boards with tons of character - think blue stain and grub holes 😊.

We appreciate them enabling us to bring these logs back to life! If you've got logs like these, let's chat - we're happy to give them new life as rough cut lumber or custom milled boards!

The 1"×6"×8' boards are available for $5/each.
The 1"×8"×8' boards are $6.65/each
The 1"10"×8' boards $8.35/each

We can kiln dry them and plane them into S4S, T&G, or nickelgap shiplap in under 2 weeks.

46 hours over 7 days in Northern Michigan's unpredictable weather!

We started on a pleasant Sunday, followed by a sunny 57° Monday. Tuesday was cut short with rain and sleet. Wednesday was a no go with a mix of sleet and snow. A break in the weather on Thursday enabled another 10 hour day.
Sidelined with snow on Friday. The calm before the storm on Saturday enabled to us to finish up. Making the last cut at sunset.

Red Pine, Basswood, Ash, and Maple species.

1x6, 1x8, 1x10, 1x12, 2x4, 2x6, 2x8, 2x10, 2x12, 6x6, and 8x8 dimensions.

8', 10', 12', 14', and 16' lengths.

Today we are hibernating through a near blizzard.

With flexible scheduling and a can-do attitude, we were able to meet our valued customer's tight timeline.

Just finished making lumber at Johnecheck Farms, working with Steve to process some beautiful 16.5' red pine logs. We milled 5,660 board feet in 11.5 hours, averaging 492 board feet per hour. Thanks for the opportunity to work with you, Steve!
