“I was so impressed with Kelvin’s skills as a facilitator that I hired him to serve as my leadership coach when I assumed the position of interim vice president for research at Auburn University in June 2018. The leadership coaching Kelvin provided throughout the duration of my interim role was invaluable.” - Dr. Jennifer Kerpelman, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, College of Human Sciences, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama

“Kelvin is one of the best presenters we have used to bring Emergenetics alive and both his presentations and interactive sessions are engaging, enlightening, and entertaining – a combination that always resonates very positively with our personnel – even when conducted virtually.” – Dr. Devin Stephenson, President, Northwest Florida State College, Niceville, Florida

“I attribute many of our leadership successes at Wallace State to his coaching. I have also engaged Kelvin to provide coaching to teams of employees enduring unresolved conflict, and to athletic teams to strengthen their self-awareness and cohesiveness.” – Dr. Vicki Karolewics, President, Wallace State Community College, Hanceville, Alabama

Sunday Reflection

It’s interesting how one quiet morning can tell you more about your life than one busy week.

Most of us spend Monday through Friday reacting. Meetings. Emails. Deadlines. Phone calls. By the time the weekend arrives, we’re ready to rest, but we rarely stop long enough to reflect.

I’ve learned that growth doesn’t happen just because another week passed. Growth happens when we pause long enough to ask, What did this week teach me?

Did someone challenge my assumptions? Did I listen as well as I spoke? Did I make someone’s day better? Did I become a little more patient, a little more understanding, a little more self-aware?

Tomorrow begins a new week, but before you rush toward Monday, spend a few minutes with Sunday.

The quality of your leadership often depends on the quality of your reflection.

Have a great Sunday.

What a week.

The Book of Noble debuted on Tuesday, June 16, and climbed as high as #6 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases list in Contemporary Literature & Fiction.

It is still holding strong at #7.

I am deeply grateful to every person who purchased the book, shared a post, sent a text, left a review, or told someone else about it. Your support has helped this story reach far beyond what I could have done alone.

The Book of Noble is a business fable about jealousy, ambition, power, betrayal, and the quiet games people play in the workplace.

Thank you for helping this book find its audience.
